Who is behind this site?

I am Emánuel Dávid Tukacs, an independent insurance intermediary (broker). As a broker I do not represent a single insurer – I act on my client's mandate: I collect competing offers from several insurers for your company's needs and hand them over in one plain-language table, strengths, weaknesses and small print included. I assess the need and explain the options – the decision always stays with the client.

My activity is supervised by the Hungarian National Bank (MNB): my registration number is 114063010758, which anyone can verify in the MNB's public register. I carry out the intermediation as a partner of Eurorisk Biztosítási Alkusz Kft. My central site: tukacs.com.

Why group protection, of all things?

Because few points in a company's life offer such tangible security for such a small move. One contract – and when an event defined in the policy terms occurs, the insured, or the beneficiary, receives a pre-agreed fixed sum to spend freely. Not a maze of services: it is worth going through the exclusions and waiting periods item by item before the contract is signed. The Insights section explains in detail how all of this works.

Three principles I hold myself to

• Competition, not product-pushing. Instead of insurer brands I compare content: covers, sums, exclusions, waiting periods, administration. Offers from several insurers go side by side – the table speaks for itself.
• Plain language. A decision needs a clear picture, not insurance jargon. I prepare every document so that the CEO, HR and the accountant all read the same thing from it – and the glossary decodes the technical terms.
• The long run. Signing is not the finish, it is the start: a review if it is warranted or you ask, and tidy administration whenever headcount changes. The fastest route for filing a claim is always the insurer's own channel – but if a case gets stuck or a claim is disputed, I help the client, as their broker, where I can.

What does this cost you?

I charge the client no fee for the advice or for running the competition – the intermediary remuneration is paid by the insurer. That is how this market normally works, and I talk about it openly, because trust rests on it: you know exactly what your broker lives on, and you also know that the right to decide always remains yours.
